Singer George Michael has been arrested by police after a car crashed into a shop when he drove in a gay parade in Hampstead, North London.
According to newspaper The Sun, Tuesday (6 / 7), 47-year-old singer was allegedly was not aware when her Range Rover car hit Snappy Snaps stores. As a result of that collision, walls and door of the shop were cracked.
The incident occurred at 3:35 last Sunday morning after a party in London’s Gay Pride parade. After the incident, George was led to the police but then released after paying bail. He should be back to report to police next month.
The police did not mention the name George and simply said, “A man’s 40-year-old was arrested for allegedly not being fit while driving.”
George’s publicist would not comment on the news. This became the umpteenth time after one year ending George punishment should not be driving for two years. Gay former Wham singer personnel! He was previously arrested while driving drunk in May 2007. Last year, he was allegedly driving while intoxicated and crashing in the Berkshire area. He was later released without charge.
